Come on in!
A 2018 graduate of Texas A&M University's Visualization Department, my focus was primarily in Visual and Interactive Design. The Viz Department provided a great platform for learning and exposure to the expansive landscape of design, providing the groundwork for the eventual path I am now attempting to build.
While there, I had the opportunity to be involved with projects in branding and print design, UI/UX and system design, as well as serve in both the Social Media Manager and Vice President roles of the design organization, AIGA TAMU.
Post-graduation, I've worked primarily as a graphic designer and commercial photo editor but have had a creative or technical hand in projects ranging from product photography, social media and advertising to identity and apparel design.
The Hinged-Nature of Effectiveness
Master scribbler and homework margin navigator turned illustrator and designer, I am enormored by graphics design and visual communication. A late transfer into the Viz program, I was introduced to the considered, intentioned art practice called design sophomore year and immediately began developing a passion for graphic design and visual communication.
"...homework margin navigator turned illustrator and designer, I am enormored by graphics design and visual communication."
The role design plays in the dissemenation of information and ideas, as well as its hinged-nature of effectiveness on consideration, are aspects of the discipline that absolutely fascinate me. I am constantly learning and attempting to maximize that potential and deliver visual systems that help communicate the intentions of the client and work.
